Job Description
An opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Operative / Delivery Driver to join meat-free production site producing authentic Mexican tortillas, salsas, and related products
As a Warehouse Operative / Delivery Driver, you will be supporting day-to-day warehouse activities while completing safe, timely deliveries to customers and other locations.
This full-time permanent role offers a salary range of £25,500 - £28,000 and benefits.
You will be responsible for
Loading the delivery vehicle and ensuring orders are ready for dispatch.
Receiving, checking, storing and rotating incoming stock.
Picking, packing and preparing customer orders accurately.
Updating stock records and carrying out inventory checks usingCin7 (training provided).
Preparing product samples and arranging collections and deliveries via DHL
Loading and unloading vehicles and completing required delivery paperwork.
Carrying out routine vehicle checks and reporting any issues.
Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and compliant with health and safety requirements.
Using warehouse equipment, including pallet trucks and forklifts where required.
The candidates from the following background will be considered:
Warehouse Operative, Warehouse Assistant, Warehouse Operator, Delivery Driver, Van Driver, Driver, Warehouse Technician, Warehouse Picker, Warehouse Packer or in a similar role.
What we are looking for:
Essential:
A full UK driving licence.
Good physical fitness and the ability to undertake manual handling duties.
Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
Confidence using smartphones for route and delivery applications.
Basic computer skills, including email, data entry and stock management systems.
Desirable:
Previous warehouse and delivery experience.
A forklift licence, although training will be provided.
Shift:
Monday to Friday, 5:30am - 2:00pm
