Job Description

We at Siamo Recruitment are excited to be partnering with a UK-leading manufacturer in their industry.   As a Warehouse Operative, this role offers the opportunity to grow and further develop your skills. You will work as part of both the production and despatch teams, helping to ensure high-quality products are handled with care.  The role involves a variety of tasks, including operating different machines, following processes, and using business systems—all of which come with full training.  We are looking for someone willing to learn, a strong team player, and attentive to detail. A sense of care is essential, as the role involves manual handling and working at heights, so comfort with these tasks is important.  Hours: Monday – Friday 06:30 – 15:00    Pay: £12.30 p/h  What are the benefits to joining our client:  Free Onsite Parking  Fixed shift  Over time available   Potential Temporary to Permanent role availability.   Great onsite facilities As a warehouse operative you will:  Pick products accurately using pick lists or scanners.  Pack orders to a high standard, ensuring items are protected and correctly labelled.  Carry out basic quality checks on products and packaging.  Replenish stock and keep picking areas organised.  Assist with dispatch, loading parcels, and updating order statuses.  Support general warehouse tasks, including goods-in and maintaining a clean, safe workspace.  Adhere to Health & Safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised workspace.  Collaborate effectively with colleagues across despatch, production, and other departments.  Work to KPIs to meet productivity targets.   Undertake training to develop skills and support business needs.   Demonstrate attention to detail, accuracy, teamwork, and the ability to meet deadlines.   The ideal candidate will have the following skillset:  1x year experience in a warehouse  Attention to detail and willingness to learn  Be self-motivated, and able to work as part as a team.  Good Communication Skills.  A Full UK Driving Licence is advantageous.   Like minded job titles: Warehouse Operative, Warehouse Assistant, Warehouse Worker, Picker/Packer, Despatch Operative, Inventory/Stock Controller, Distribution Operative  Commutable from: Cirencester, Cricklade, Areas in and around Swindon
