Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver - Maldon, Essex
£13.50 per hour | Temporary until Jan 2026 | Monday - Friday, 8am-4pm
Looking for a steady Monday - Friday role with no late nights or weekends? Our client in Maldon is seeking a Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver to join their friendly team on a long-term temporary contract running until January 2026.
This is a hands-on role where you'll be at the centre of warehouse operations, keeping stock moving smoothly in and out of production. If you're confident on a Counterbalance Forklift and happy to get involved with all aspects of warehouse work, this could be the role for you.
Key Responsibilities of the Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver:
Operating a Counterbalance Forklift (including high racking)
Picking, packing, and pallet wrapping
Supplying products to production lines
Loading and unloading vehicles by hand and forklift
Stock rotation and accurate dispatch paperwork
Maintaining high standards of safety, hygiene, and quality
What We're Looking For:
Valid, in-date Counterbalance Forklift licence
Previous warehouse experience (FMCG/logistics distribution and supply chain experience a bonus)
Full UK driving licence (essential for moving vehicles on-site)
Positive, team-focused approach and a proactive attitude
