WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE / FORKLIFT TRUCK DRIVER
CHESHIRE
MONDAY TO THURSDAY 8AM - 4:30PM
FRIDAY - 8AM - 2:30PM
£24.5K - £26K + 20 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays
Our client is a privately owned packaging business based in Cheshire and has over 70 years of experience servicing the needs and requirements of customers in relation to all different types of end user packaging products for the UK and Irish marketplaces.
They are now looking to recruit a Warehouse Operator / Forklift Truck Driver to join their team.
Responsibilities:
Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and orders
Load and unload goods from lorries and containers efficiently
Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accuracy in order fulfilment
Operating a forklift truck loading / unloading and stacking products in racking
Perform equipment repair as necessary to maintain operational efficiency
Conduct regular inspections of warehouse equipment to ensure proper functioning
Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse spaceKey Skills:
Previous warehouse experience is desirable but training will be given
Proficiency in materials handling techniques and safety procedures
Forklift licence essential
Full Driving License essential
Basic math skills for inventory counting and order processingBefore You Apply
