Warehouse Operative
Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, AL7 1HB
* Full time (8:30am - 5:45pm, 42.5 hours per week)
* From £27,135 per annum (depending on experience) + Benefits

Barco Sales is one of the UK’s leading independent plumbing and heating distributors working with merchants of all sizes throughout the UK. We are currently recruiting a Warehouse Operative to join the Operations Team at the company’s headquarters in central Welwyn Garden City.

Working hours:
* 8:30am - 5:45pm (42.5 hours per week)
Key responsibilities:
* Picking orders with individual items up to 25kgs
* Checking and packing orders
* Loading vans for delivery the next day
* Replenishing stock and stock checking
* Assisting with goods-in as required
* Basic in-house assembly if required
* Working safely and keeping the warehouse tidy
* Effective use of company IT system for all operational tasks
* Relief Driving*
Your experience/attributes
* Fully focused on outstanding customer service with a great work ethic
* Strong attention to detail for accurate order fulfilment
* A reliable team player with good timekeeping
* Ability to lift up to 25kgs
* A good standard of verbal and written English
* Basic numeracy skills
* Knowledge and experience of working in a warehouse would be beneficial
* We welcome anyone with a Forklift licence (counterbalance and reach)
* Delivery Driving experience*
*We are keen to hear from anyone who also has delivery driving experience, including driving in London, and would be willing to act as a relief driver during holidays and busy periods.
