Hours:  9.00am - 5.30pm Monday - Friday, some flexibility possible
Salary: £26000 - £30000 depending on experience

We are seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our client based a few miles west of Cambridge. This role involves handling parts for advanced products, ensuring timely and accurate stock management and supporting manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

- Receive and store deliveries, update ERP system 
- Inspect stock for quality and compliance 
- Organize and optimize storage space 
- Pick items for manufacturing orders 
- Operate counterbalance forklift for palletized goods (training provided if needed) 
- Assist with stock takes and resolve discrepancies 
- Maintain a clean, safe and efficient warehouse

Requirements

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy 
- Ability to read basic mechanical drawings 
- Team player with a proactive attitude 
- Comfortable working independently and meeting deadlines 
- Clean driving licence preferred
- Forklift experience is an advantage but not essential
