Warehouse Operative – Dorking

Permanent  Full-Time  40 Hours per Week

Alternating weekly Shifts:

8:30am – 5:30pm (Mon–Fri)
10:00am – 7:00pm (Mon–Fri)
(Each day includes a 60‑minute unpaid lunch break)

We’re looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join a friendly, fast-paced logistics environment where accuracy, teamwork and excellent service are key. As a Warehouse Operative, you’ll support daily operations across goods‑in, stock control, order processing and dispatch, helping ensure smooth workflow and high service levels.

What You’ll Be Doing

In this Warehouse Operative role, your duties will include:

Receiving, storing, picking, and packing materials and equipment
Accurately recording all stock and inventory information
Using scanners, computer terminals, and warehouse software
Operating pallet trucks and manual handling equipment (training provided)
Operating forklifts (Reach or Counterbalance) if trained/authorised
Maintaining exceptional housekeeping standards
Supporting timely shipping and dispatch activitiesWhat We’re Looking For

Essential Experience:

Experience working as a Warehouse Operative or similar
Background in goods receipt and dispatch
Familiarity with automated warehouse systems
Strong understanding of health & safety standards
Ability to work accurately under pressureDesirable:

Forklift licence (or willingness to train)
Full clean driving licence
SAP MM/IM experience
Experience with automotive partsPersonal Qualities

Adaptable, proactive and reliable
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Able to work independently and handle manual tasksBenefits
