Warehouse Operative

Pay: £13.45 per hour
Hours: Sunday to Thursday, 4:00pm - 1:30am (Friday and Saturday off)
Contract Type: Temporary with Temp‑to‑Perm opportunities
Location: Chepstow

Overview

Berry Recruitment is currently seeking Warehouse Operatives to join a busy and well‑established distribution warehouse based in Chepstow. This role involves general warehouse duties in a busy environment handling a wide range of food products, including fresh fruit and vegetables, dairy, dry store ingredients, fresh meat, and fish.

This position offers consistent shifts and the potential to secure a permanent role for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

Accurately and efficiently picking and packing products
Loading and unloading vehicles
Working within chilled, ambient, and fresh‑food areas of the warehouse
Sorting, organising, and storing stock correctly
Maintaining cleanliness and adhering to hygiene and safety standards
Following all company health and safety procedures
Collaborating with the warehouse team to meet daily targets 

Requirements

High‑visibility jacket and safety boots (essential)
Ability to work late shifts consistently
Comfortable working in chilled and ambient environments
Punctual, and able to work in busy environments
Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential
