Warehouse Operative -MHE Upskilling

AM2PM are recruiting for Warehouse Operatives who would like to upskill to:

LLOP Drivers
Reach Forklift Drivers
HLOP Drivers
VNA Forklift Drivers
PPT Drivers
For our client based in the Lutterworth area. Our client are a leading international logistics partner, specialising in supply chain solutions for a variety of brands within the fashion and lifestyle sector.   

Details of a Warehouse Operative:

The shifts are 6am-6pm/6pm - 6am rotating (Days and Nights) 4 on 4 off.
Overtime rates available
Prior to your MHE Certification your pay rate will be £12.91 
Once Upskilled: Days £15.58, Nights £16.92, Weekend Days £16.47, Weekend Nights £17.92

Requirements of a Warehouse Operative:

Experience working in a busy warehouse environment
Ability to work at height for long periods of time - 20m high
Basic numeracy and literacy skills
Good communication skills

Duties of a Warehouse Operative:

Accurately picking items using hand-held scanners using FLT equipment - please note, the racking in the warehouse is 20m high.
Securely operate FLT (HLOP, PPT) equipment and adhere to strict health and safety rules on site
Moving palletised goods around the warehouse to the correct locations
Support with loading and unloading delivery vehicles
Perform daily safety checks on equipment before usage
General housekeeping duties to maintain a clean working environment
All work undergone is physically demanding due to the nature of the environment
