Job Description

THIS IS A TEMP TO PERM ROLE SO YOU MUST BE AVAILABLE IMMEDIATELY
My client is seeking a warehouse operative to join their great warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be able to work as part of a team, in a fast-paced environment, and can handle heavy lifting. This is a great role for someone who enjoys working with his or her hands and isn't afraid of a little hard work.
Job purpose: To receive, prepare, process and pack orders in a timely manner. To restock and undertake stock takes whilst adhering to all health and safety process and procedures.
Responsibilities:
* Maintain warehouse safety and cleanliness;
* Unloading and loading of delivery vehicles;
* Counting and confirming inventory;
* Marking and labelling stock;
* Picking and packing products and reviewing paperwork to ensure that the product picked matches the documentation;
* Loading and wrapping stock on pallets;
* Operating and building loads with forklift;
* Ensure orders are ready for collection or delivery;
* Receive, verify, unpack and sort incoming materials;
* Undertaking stock takes;
* Storing inventory in an accessible manner;
* Reporting faulty or defective stock.
Job Type: Full-time; Monday to Friday 8.30am till 5.30pm
