Role: Warehouse Operative
Location: Sunbury on Thames TW16
Salary: Up to £30k per annum
Proactive Global currently is looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join one of our prestigious customers based in Sunbury on Thames.
Job Description: As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a crucial role in assisting our three warehouse departments across the business
Key Responsibilities:
Receiving and Processing:Unloading deliveries, checking goods received against purchase orders, and accurately recording inventory.
Storage and Organization:Storing goods in designated areas, ensuring items are properly labeled and organized for easy retrieval.
Order Fulfillment:Picking and packing orders according to customer specifications, preparing shipments, and ensuring timely dispatch.
Goods In Processing.Booking good received in to the system , checking for damage. Labelling the goods and putting them away in their locations.
Quality Control:Inspecting products for defects or damages, reporting any issues, and ensuring all items meet quality standards.
Safety and Maintenance:Maintaining a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations, and performing routine equipment checks.
Inventory Management:Conducting regular stock checks, updating inventory records, and assisting with stocktaking activities.
Requirements:
Experience:Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred.
Skills:Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Proficiency in warehouse management software and MS Office.
Physical Ability:Ability to lift and move heavy items, stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks.
Team Player:Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
