Warehouse Operative – Forklift (Counterbalance & Reach Truck)
Location: Cullompton, Devon
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Pay Rate: £12.25 per hour
Are you an experienced forklift operator looking for a long-term opportunity in a fast-paced warehouse environment? We’re recruiting for reliable and skilled Warehouse Operatives to join a growing team in Cullompton.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate Counterbalance and Reach Forklift Trucks across various racking systems.
Use warehouse management systems and handheld scanners to receive, store, pick, and dispatch goods.
Load and unload trailers at docking bays.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the warehouse.
Ensure goods are correctly packaged and ready for dispatch.
Shunt lorries around the yard as needed (full training provided).
Accurately complete all warehouse paperwork in line with company procedures.
Requirements:
Valid UK Driving Licence (essential for yard shunting).
Valid Forklift Licence – Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck (essential).
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Shift Patterns Available:
Option 1:
4 on, 3 off (Sunday to Wednesday)
Hours: 09:00 – 21:00
Option 2:
4 on, 2 off rotating shift:
Week 1: 05:00 – 15:00
Week 2: 11:00 – 21:00Before You Apply
