Job Description
Impact Recruitment are working with a well-established engineering business based in Daventry, who are now looking to appoint an experienced Warehouse Operative to join their busy team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and growing business where you will be responsible for a mix of warehouse duties, forklift operation, and occasional company van driving. The role involves managing goods in/out, maintaining accurate stock records, and ensuring the smooth running of warehouse operations.
Location: Daventry | On-site
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts
Pay: £13.33 an hour
Key Responsibilities:
Operate Counterbalance and Reach truck for loading/unloading vehicles and storing goods
Receive and book in deliveries using the company's computer system
Pick items from stock according to kitting lists
Carry out stock checks and investigate discrepancies.
Drive the company van when required (clean UK driving licence essential).
Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised warehouse environment.
Support colleagues and provide cover for holidays or absences.
Comply with all Health & Safety and environmental requirements.Requirements:
Valid Counterbalance and Reach Truck licences.
Full, clean UK driving licence
Previous warehouse experience in a similar role
Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail
Ability to work well in a team with excellent communication skills
Flexible, proactive, and adaptable to changing workloadsBenefits:
