Job Description
Seamstress / Sewing Machinist
We are currently looking to recruit several Full Time Seamstress / Sewing Machinist to join a wonderful team with our client based in Hatfield where service is valued.
This Seamstress / Sewing Machinist role will include garment alterations, repairs, and customisation to ensure every item meets our high standards. This is a hands-on role that requires precision, attention to detail, and pride in craftsmanship.
This position will be on-going until September / October.
We have a lot of candidates returning year on year as the client offers a welcoming and friendly work place.
Shifts: 07:00-14:30 Monday to Friday (inc Bank Holiday work)
35 hours
Salary: £12.21/h PLUS Holiday Pay

Duties of Seamstress / Sewing Machinist:
Perform alterations and repairs to school uniforms and sportswear
Work with a variety of fabrics and garment types
Follow specifications and customer requirements
Maintain a clean and organised workspace
Ensure all work meets our quality and presentation standards
Key Skills and Experience for Seamstress / Sewing Machinist:
Attention to detail
Previous experience as a seamstress, tailor, or in garment alterations
Proficiency in using sewing machines and hand-sewing techniques
Good team member with a flexible and can-do attitude
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
