Job Title: Warehouse Operative
Location: Stonehouse, Gloucester
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour (paid weekly)
Hours: Monday to Friday
Shift 1: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
Shift 2: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
About the Role:
Gi Group is currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join a busy and well-established logistics site in Stonehouse, Gloucester. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and are looking for a stable, long-term role.
You'll be involved in a variety of tasks including picking, packing, and rework activities, handling mostly light goods, although some lifting of items up to 25kg may be required. The role is ideal for someone who is, reliable, adaptable and has strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack items according to order specifications
- Carry out rework tasks as required by the client
- Ensure goods are handled safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet daily targets
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential
- Comfortable with manual handling and lifting up to 25kg
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and adapt to different tasks
