Production Operative
Location: Doncaster, DN4
Salary: £12.75 per hour
Shifts: Rotating days and nights (6am–6pm / 6pm–6am)
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent
Start Date: Immediate starts available
Pay: Weekly, every Friday
We are currently seeking an experienced Production Operative to join our production facility in Doncaster. This role is integral to the manufacture of high-quality bottle components used across a range of products, including milk cartons, juice cartons, milkshake bottles, and water bottle lids.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor production machinery to ensure efficiency and accuracy
Maintain consistent product quality by conducting regular checks and inspections
Report any operational issues or faults to management in a timely manner
Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and company policies
Requirements:
Proven experience in a machine operative or similar role (essential)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow procedures reliably
Flexibility to work both day and night shifts on a rotating basis
Shift Pattern:
Two 12-hour day shifts one week (6am – 6pm), three 12-hour day shifts the following week
Alternating with night shifts (6pm – 6am) on the opposite schedule
