Job Description
Staffline is hiring Warehouse Operatives to join a busy distribution centre in Barnsley, supporting one of the UK's most well-known high street food retailers.
This is a full-time role, working Wednesday - Sundays 2pm to 12am (midnight)
Due to the shift end times, you will need your own transport for this role.
Warehouse Operatives earn:
First 24 Weeks:
- Weekday Day shift (6am - 6pm) £12.21 per hour
- Weekday Night shift (6pm - 6am) £14.65 per hour
- Weekend Day shift (6am - 6pm) £12.62 per hour
- Weekend Night shift (6pm - 6am) £15.87 per hour
After 25 Weeks:
- Weekday Day shift (6am - 6pm) £12.43 per hour
- Weekday Night shift (6pm - 6am) £15.52 per hour
- Weekend Day shift (6am - 6pm) £15.91 per hour
- Weekend Night shift (6pm - 6am) £16.78 per hour
Overtime rates are paid after 40 hours.
Your Time at Work
As a Warehouse Operative, your time at work will include
- Picking food products in a chilled environment using pick headsets
- Breaking down pallets of food ready for processing
- Allocating products for storage and dispatch
Our Perfect Worker
Our perfect worker will have excellent timekeeping and attendance. You will have the ability to work under pressure and achieve performance targets.
Applicants will have good Maths and English skills.
Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential, as full training is provided.
