Job Description
Are you a reliable and hardworking individual looking to join a dynamic warehouse team? We're recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to support the smooth running of daily operations, ensuring goods are received, stored, and dispatched efficiently?
Location: Widnes - WA8
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm (35 hours per week, 1 hour lunch break)
Salary: £24,960 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately receive, check, and store incoming goods
Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch
Operate warehouse equipment safely (training provided if needed)
Conduct regular stock checks and report any discrepancies
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
Work collaboratively to meet productivity targets
Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles
Skills & Attributes:
Strong attention to detail
Team player with a positive attitude
Physically fit - lifting moderate loads involved
Reliable and punctual
Basic IT or scanner operation skills
Awareness of health and safety standards
Qualifications & Experience:
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Forklift License (Counterbalance or Reach) preferred but not essential
