About the Company:
A well-established and respected business in the metals and plastics distribution sector is looking for a committed and hard-working Warehouse Operative to join their Essex-based team. Key Responsibilities:
Accurately pick, pack and prepare goods for dispatch
Load and unload vehicles
Carry out general warehouse tasks including stock control, labelling, and housekeeping
Assist with deliveries as required (a full driving licence is essential)
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth warehouse operations
Requirements:
Full UK driving licence (essential)
Warehouse or logistics experience (preferred but not essential)
Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
Good communication and time management skills
FLT licence is desirable, but training may be provided for the right candidate
