Warehouse Operative Nights
Job&Talent are recruiting for experienced Warehouse Operative in Nursling, Southampton, we are looking for hard working and experienced warehouse operatives to join our team, our client is ramping up for some new business opportunities and are looking for core team members to join the operation.
As a Warehouse Operative Nights you will need to have:
Ability to work both individually and as part of a team in a physically demanding environment
Stay physically active during your shift
Safety Shoes & Hi-vis
Good attention to detail.
A commitment to health & safety.
We require candidates with the ability to work flexible shifts.Salary :
Starting at £12.96 per hour (night rate, shift dependent). After 12 weeks of continuous work, the rate increases to £13.66.
Location : Nursling, Southampton
Nights start as early as 22:00 and finish as late as 09:00
No two days are the same.
Role of a Warehouse Operative Nights:
Accurately receive, pick, assemble and load customer orders within depot accuracy and speed targets,
Sorting & Scanning: Using smart tech to sort parcels into cages.
Contribute towards a clean and safe working environment, demonstrating concern to ensure that personal actions do not compromise the health and safety of self and/or colleagues at all times
Handle customer stock with care and consideration to minimize damages and maximize customer service
Adhere to instructions and guidelines regarding manual handling, the use of Mechanical Handling equipment, including pre-operational checks, reporting of defects, and the safe use and operation of all equipment.
Loading and unloading of delivery vehicles, stacking stock onto and off pallets in a safe and stable manner ready for transit.
Please Note: This role requires commitment and is suitable for candidates who are reliable and able to attend shifts at short notice.
