Job Description
We are recruiting a Warehouse Operative / Driver on behalf of a client based in the Battlefield Enterprise Park, Shrewsbury. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will deliver a supporting role within the distribution and logistics operation, to supply product to the regional and export customers.
Hours of work are 10am-6.30pm Monday to Friday.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Loading / Unloading vehicles, large goods vehicles, and shipping containers
· Bendi or Counterbalance FLT licence preferred but not essential
· Controlling and recording of goods inwards and outwards.
· Maintaining minimum stock levels
· Picking orders
· Conduct quarterly stock takes
· Adhering to Health and Safety requirements & 5S systems of work
· Quarterly stock take
· Conduct aging stock quality checks.
· Labeling / Relabeling of products as necessary.
· Racking safety inspections – visual control checks and reporting to management.
· Pre-shift inspection of MHE and vehicles.
· Manage waste packaging using baler to ensure adherence to recycling targets.
· Support with delivery of goods to cover holidays and absence
· Supporting the daily deliveries of goods to our Customer networkBefore You Apply
