Job Title: Warehouse Operator
Location: Goole
Contract Details: 6 months with potential for Temp to Perm or extension. Shifts rotate weekly between days and nights:
Day Shift: 6am - 2:30pm Mon - Fri
Night Shift: 2:30pm - 10pm Mon - Thurs; 2:30pm - 8pm Fri
Salary: From £15.17 per hour

Responsibilities:
As a Warehouse Operative, your day-to-day will include:
Picking and packing products, building kits, and delivering them to the production line
Safely offloading incoming goods using material handling equipment (MHE)
Following standard operating procedures and safe systems of work
Recording incoming goods with precision and meeting quality inspection requirements
Ensuring accurate 'put-away' of goods in the warehouse
Conducting stock counts and maintaining stock integrity
Packing goods for shipment and confirming via barcode scanning
Dispatching goods on time to the production line
prioritising health, safety, and environmental practises
Engaging in the company's improvement programme
Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
To succeed in this role, you will need:
Previous experience as a Warehouse Operative or in a similar role
A valid FLT licence
Strong attention to detail and efficiency
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Health and safety awareness
Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Familiarity with barcode scanning systems
Technologies:
Material Handling Equipment (MHE)
Barcode scanning systems
