Warehouse Picker - Days
We are looking for Warehouse Operatives to join our client's team in Spalding (PE11 2BB). This is a great opportunity for reliable and hardworking people to work in a busy and friendly warehouse environment. No experience needed - just a good attitude and a willingness to learn.
The Spalding site is one of the largest in their Temperature Controlled Distribution network.
Role of a Warehouse Picker - Days
Receiving and inspecting deliveries of goods and supplies
Checking for damaged or missing items in received shipments
Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to organizational standards
Assisting with the loading and unloading of vehicles using manual handling techniques
Moving and storing products within the warehouse using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts
Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently
Managing inventory levels by conducting regular stock checks and replenishing shelves
Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
Picking various product with scanner
Some manual picking
Operating and managing technical equipment
Adhering to safety management standards
Adhere to all training, work instructions, and procedures
Any other duties depend on client needs
Ability to work within a chilled/cold environment
Pay rates:
Day SHIFT:
Mon - Friday - £12.21 p/h
Saturday - £13.11 p/h
Sunday / BH - £13.41 p/h
OT: (Mon-Fri over 47.5h) £12.91
Shift Patterns Available:
4 on 3 off: 06:00 - 18:00
4 on 3 off: 08:00 - 18:00
(Includes a 30-minute unpaid break)
Duration: Ongoing
