Job Description

Prism 7 Resourcing are currently looking for a Warehouse Picker Packer to join a busy team in Wickford, Essex. This role is ready for an immediate start.

Working within the screws dept. This is a very dexterous position where you will be expected to count and weigh large amounts of stock into prepacks. Candidates should be able to lift boxes up to 25kg and work with ladders.

Key Responsibilities:

  * Reading and marking picking lists

  * Locating stock using location codes

  * Warehouse maintenance (ensuring clear stock locations and a tidy warehouse)

  * Replenishing Stock (using a pump truck)

  * Regularly picking and carrying heavy products (up to 25kg)

  * Labelling products

  * Packing and palletising various jobs ready for dispatch.

  * Communicating with other departments.

  * Working across multiple departments.

  * Identifying location errors.

  * Stripping pallets.

  * Other ad-hoc warehouse duties.

Essential Knowledge & Skills:

  * Core hours may change

  * Good communication skills.

  * Attention to detail.

  * Prioritization of workload

  * Access to mobile phone applications for time keeping.

  * Must be able to routinely lift boxes up to 25kg.

  * Must be comfortable using a ladder.

  * Basic knowledge of Health & Safety.

  * Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

  * Must be a trustworthy, reliable, team player.

Desirable Knowledge & Skills

  * Previous picker/packer experience

  * Full drivers licence

Schedule: Monday – Friday/ 08:00 AM -05:00 PM

These roles will start as 8am – 5pm however after a few weeks these may change to one of the below options:

6am – 3pm

7am – 4pm

8am – 5pm

9am – 6pm

Pay rate: £12.71ph
