Role Purpose
The Planner will provide accurate and timely administrative support to the Warehouse team, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication with both colleagues and customers.
Key Responsibilities
Process and manage customer orders in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
Dispatch orders and close out job files (including POD and other required documents).
Run and produce reports for customers and management.
Maintain accurate filing and archiving of paperwork.
Update shared files and carry out system checks.
Support stocktaking activities when required.
Input vehicle arrivals for customers and collate information for charge reports.
Update KPIs and other business performance records.
Escalate any issues, queries, accidents, or incidents in line with company procedures.
Maintain general office housekeeping and assist with ad hoc tasks as instructed.
Attend training sessions for new processes and procedures.

Accuracy and timeliness of data entered into systems.
Jobs closed promptly and correctly.
Effective reporting and escalation of issues.
Compliance with processes and housekeeping standards.
Working Hours & Environment
Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:30.
Based in a busy office within a large warehouse environment.
Health, Safety & Environment
Follow all company Health & Safety policies.
Maintain high standards of personal and workplace safety.
Ensure colleagues and contractors also comply with H&S procedures.
Person Specification
Qualifications & Experience
Computer literate – confident using MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word), email, and databases.
Good numeracy and literacy skills.
Experience working in a fast-paced office environment.
Previous experience in a similar administrative or planning role (preferred).
Skills & Competencies
Strong attention to detail with a methodical approach.
Highly organised, able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Ability to work under pressure and prioritise effectively.
Self-motivated and reliable with a positive, “can-do” attitude.
Flexible and a strong team player.
Good communication skills (written and verbal).
Professional and appropriate behaviour when dealing with colleagues, customers, and visitors.
