4 on 4 off shifts - 9AM-9PM

Are you a Warehouse Supervisor looking to work for a well known brand offering career development and progression? Our client is a leading high street retailer going through a period of growth.
As a Warehouse Shift Manager, you will lead and motivate a team to deliver safe, efficient, and accurate warehouse operations. Operating on a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern, you’ll oversee day-to-day activities across goods-in, storage, picking, packing, and despatch — supporting both store replenishment and e-commerce fulfilment. You’ll play a key role in integrating automation technology into daily workflows, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a positive, performance-focused culture.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage all warehouse activities during your shift, ensuring KPIs for productivity, accuracy, and service are consistently achieved.
* Oversee the receipt, storage, picking, packing, and despatch of stock for both retail and e-commerce channels.
* Effectively plan and allocate resources to meet shifting operational demands.
* Ensure smooth and accurate shift handovers.
* Lead, coach, and develop a team of Team Leaders and warehouse colleagues, ensuring clear objectives and high levels of engagement.
* Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
* Manage performance effectively, addressing issues promptly and fairly.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation and company policies.
* Conduct regular safety checks, audits, and risk assessments, ensuring follow-up actions are completed.
* Promote a proactive safety culture across the shift team.
Experience:
* Previous experience at Warehouse Supervisor or Shift Manager level
* Have WMS experience
* Proven track record of managing a teamBefore You Apply
