Job Description

We are seeking an ambitious Warehouse Supervisor, to join a well established and growing business. A unique operation where you will be valued with ample progression. You will play a key role in coordinating daily warehouse activity, leading a team on the shop floor, and ensuring operational targets are met safely and efficiently. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to motivate and manage a fast-paced team environment.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Shift Manager in day-to-day warehouse operations
Allocate workloads to ensure all tasks are completed within deadlines
Monitor performance and ensure delivery of the daily shift plan
Manage attendance, timekeeping, return-to-work interviews, and absence processes
Identify operational issues and escalate appropriately to management
Maintain strong communication with the Shift Manager regarding tasks and updates
Maintain a visible presence on the shop floor (80–90% of shift)
Identify training needs and support team development
 Skills & Experience

Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment
Proven experience in a supervisory or team leader role
Experience managing teams, including 1-2-1s and performance reviews
Strong understanding of warehouse processes and best practice
Strong organisational and time management skills
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
High attention to detail
