The Company:
Our client is a market leading retail distribution business who are experience significant growth within their sector. They are looking to recruit a number of dynamic Warehouse Supervisor’s to join their already successful team as a result of significant growth - there is a 3 on 3 rotating day shift patern (early or lates). Roles include inbound, outbound, pick tower (automation experience required) and E-com.
The Role:
As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for the efficient management of a team of operatives within a fast-paced warehouse operation working to challenging KPI’s and SLA’s. You will be required to coach, mentor, and develop a team of warehouse colleagues, whilst ensuring that health and safety standards are adhered to. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will also be required to;
* Manage and motivate the team to maximise productivity
* Ensure daily and weekly KPI’s are maintained
* Providing a high standard of operational reports to senior management relating to shift performance.
* Ensure Change Management and Continuous Improvement Projects are delivered on time through excellent communication.
* Most importantly, up skilling your team through coaching and development techniques.
The Candidate:
This role would be suitable for candidates with established experience in the following roles; Warehouse Supervisor, Warehouse Team Manager, Warehouse FLM, Section Manager, or Operations Supervisor.
To be considered for this Warehouse Supervisor role, you must have experience working within a fast-paced, ‘Big Shed’ environment, within the Retail / FMCG / E-commerce sector. You must be resilient, a strong character, and able to clearly demonstrate your achievements in working with people. It is imperative that you are able to manage productivity through the use of management reports and clearly communicate performance metrics to your team.
