This role is instrumental in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse and logistics processes.
Position Overview:
The Warehouse Supervisor at Flow Control Solutions will oversee the day-to-day activities of the warehouse, including assembly and testing of actuated packages, goods receipt and dispatch, packing and dispatching of products, organising logistics, stock checks, and overall warehouse management. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organised, and possess strong leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1.
Assemble and Test of Actuated Packages: Supervise the assembly and testing of actuated packages, ensuring accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications.
2.
Goods Receipt and Dispatch: Oversee the receipt of incoming goods, inspecting for accuracy and quality. Coordinate outbound shipments, ensuring timely and accurate dispatch.
3.
Packing and Dispatching of Products: Manage the packing process to ensure products are packaged securely and according to customer requirements. Coordinate with shipping carriers for efficient dispatch.
4.
Organising Logistics: Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to organise logistics for incoming and outgoing shipments, optimising transportation routes and minimising costs.
5.
Stock Checks: Conduct regular stock checks to maintain accurate inventory levels. Implement inventory control measures to prevent stockouts and minimise excess inventory.
6.
Warehouse Management: Ensure the efficient operation of the warehouse, including layout optimisation, safety compliance, and equipment maintenance. Implement best practices for warehouse organisation and workflow efficiency.
Qualifications:

Previous experience in warehouse management or a related field, with supervisory experience.

Knowledge of warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, inventory management, and logistics.

Experience with assembly and testing processes is preferred.

Strong leadership and team management skills.
*
Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
*
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse management software.
*
Forklift certification and knowledge of health and safety regulations is a plus.
Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional certification or training in office administration or related fields is a plus.
