Workchain is currently seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for our client in High Wycombe, HP12 on a permanent basis.
You will be the person who ensures every customer order is carefully loaded and checked against manifests, with any shortages quickly communicated to internal departments.
This role is being recruited for on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
· To ensure that all teams with the operations manage the allocation of stock and deliver 100% fulfilment to clients
· To conduct internal staff training including new starters and 1 to 1 reviews
· Ensure safe and damage free loading and correct delivery orders
· Lead, support and direct team members during shifts
· Monitor Health & Safety standards and staff training needs
· Communicate with office teams and keep accurate loading records
· Investigate and resolve missing or damaged items
Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
· Proven experience of managing a team to meet company and department KPI’s
· Experienced in managing staff in line with company and regulatory policies and procedures
· Excellent communication skills
· Excellent attention to detail
· Hold a valid 7.5T licence, Digi Tacho and Driver CPC
· Strong attention to detail with pride in delivering quality work
· Excellent verbal and written communication skill
· Proven ability to manage staff and arrange cover for absences
· IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
Candidates must Hold a valid 7.5T licence, Digi Tacho and Driver CPC and have supervised a warehouse, order picking, packing or distribution operation previously.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday 3.00pm to 12.00am.
The starting salary is £35kpa, with excellent company benefits.
