Warehouse Supervisor - DP World Contract Logistics
Location: Stanford-le-Hope, Essex
Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday (including 1 Saturday every 3 weeks, rotating shifts between 6am-10pm)
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £37,500

The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join DP World Contract Logistics in Stanford-le-Hope. This key role ensures smooth warehouse operations from receipt to delivery while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. You will lead and motivate a team, manage resources, and drive continuous improvement across the operation.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise warehouse teams to ensure accurate and timely handling, picking, and dispatch of goods.
Ensure all warehouse operations comply with health and safety standards.
Identify and escalate potential quality issues, including hygiene and damage concerns.
Lead operational functions, making strong decisions to deliver efficient service.
Motivate and develop team members through coaching and performance management.
Monitor and manage KPI targets to ensure cost-effective and service-focused operations.Experience:
Operating warehouse equipment such as pallet trucks and forklifts.
Familiarity with warehouse systems and ability to quickly learn new tools.
Knowledge of safe systems of work and health & safety procedures.
Experience in meeting performance targets independently.
Conducting disciplinaries and managing absence reporting.
Background in quality and resource management.Skills:
Strong communication-clear, confident, and tactful at all levels.
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
