Location: Distribution Centre – Biggleswade, SG18 8YL
Salary: Competitive DOE + Benefits
Contract: Full time, Permanent
Hours: 07.00-15.45

We are now recruiting for a Warehouse Team Leader to join our team.
The Role:
The Warehouse Team Leader is accountable for overseeing a small team, making sure all the team are sufficiently trained and competent to perform their task. Distribution of workloads, maintaining safe working and that all tasks are performed to a high level of accuracy, efficiency, and presentation.
As our Warehouse Team Leader, you will be responsible for:
• To manage a team of warehouse staff to support the logistics operation.
• Making sure that all team members are full trained and aware of their roles & responsibilities.
• Ensure all daily tasks are carried out to the desired level.
• Support & encourage your team to deliver your targets as set out by the warehouse management team.
• To maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, security, and operational efficiency.
• Ability to build positive working relations.
• The ability to working under pressure within a busy environment.
• High-level of organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage conflicting and competing demands effectively.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Essential:
• Proven experience in a supervisory or team leader role within a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage workloads and competing demands effectively.
• A proactive and hands-on approach, with the ability to lead by example.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly brief and motivate team members.
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to build positive working relationships across teams.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of health, safety, and cleanliness in the workplace.
• The ability to remain calm and effective under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• A track record of supporting, coaching, and developing team members to achieve operational goals.
• A high level of attention to detail to ensure tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and operational needs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
Desirable:
• Experience in WMS systems
