Job Description
Accept Recruitment is currently seeking motivated Warehouse Team Leader(s) to join our client’s team in Wellesbourne! As a Warehouse Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in supervising daily operations, managing team performance, and ensuring an efficient workflow within the warehouse.
Working Patterns:
* 4 on 4 off rotation (weekend working is essential)
* Shift Options: 08:00 – 20:00 or 20:00 – 08:00 (choose day or night shifts to suit your lifestyle)
Pay Rate: £13.50 - £14.50 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervision and leadership of warehouse staff, ensuring a motivated and productive work environment
* Performance management through regular feedback, coaching, and training to enhance team productivity and engagement
* Operational oversight to ensure processes run smoothly and efficiently, meeting safety and quality standards
* Effective communication and coordination with team members and other departments to facilitate workflow
* Problem-solving to address any operational challenges and implement effective solutions
* Monitoring and maintaining inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock management
* Conducting regular safety inspections and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
* Assisting in the development and implementation of warehouse procedures and best practices
* Managing scheduling and workload distribution to optimise efficiency and meet operational targets
* Supporting the onboarding process for new team members
Requirements:
* Experience in a Warehouse or Logistics background is essential
* Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a warehouse environment
* Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations
* Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively
* Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and technology
* Strong understanding of inventory management practices
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
* Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays if required
