Warehouse Team Manager | Oldham / Rochdale | Retail | £31,600

4 on / 4 off (1:30pm - 1:00am)

About the opportunity

We're partnering with a well-established, fast-paced retail logistics operation to recruit a Warehouse Team Leader. This is a great opportunity to step into a people-focused leadership role within a large-scale, highly automated distribution environment.

This role will be working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern between 1:30pm - 1:00am

You'll be responsible for leading a team on shift, driving performance, and creating a culture where people feel engaged, supported, and motivated to deliver.

What you'll be doing

Leading, coaching and developing a team within a busy warehouse operation
Driving performance against KPIs, SLAs, and productivity targets
Managing resource and adapting to changing volumes and operational demands
Ensuring high standards of health & safety, compliance, and housekeeping
Monitoring attendance, performance, and engagement across your team
Supporting cost control through effective labour planning and utilisation
Identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives
Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth end-to-end operationsWhat we're looking for

Experience in a warehouse or logistics leadership role (Team Leader / Supervisor level)
Strong people management skills with a passion for engagement and development
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Confident communicator who can motivate and influence teams
A proactive mindset with a focus on improving processes and performance
