Warehouse Test Engineer
Location: Eastleigh
Hours: Monday - Friday, 08.00am-17.00pm + overtime

Driver Hire Southampton are recruiting for a Warehouse Test Engineer to join an air conditioning company in Eastleigh. This role involves a mix of warehouse duties and technical tasks, including preparing equipment for dispatch, operating a counterbalance forklift, carrying out equipment testing, completing checks, and supporting basic mechanical adjustments.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on individual with warehouse, engineering, or technical experience looking for a varied role.

The Role:

You will be responsible for preparing, testing, and dispatching specialist equipment while supporting day-to-day warehouse operations.

Duties Include:

Loading and unloading deliveries
Operating a counterbalance forklift (licence required)
Checking and organising stock
Preparing equipment for dispatch
Carrying out equipment testing and quality checks
Completing paperwork and reporting results
Supporting minor mechanical adjustments and repairs
Assisting the wider service team when required

About You:

Previous warehouse or technical experience preferred
Valid counterbalance forklift licence essential
Practical and mechanically minded
Reliable with good attention to detail
