Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse & Transport Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations and transport activities. This is a key role ensuring efficient stock control, safe working practices, and timely delivery of goods to customers. 
 
Staffline is recruiting for a Warehouse & Transport Supervisor to work in Nottingham. 
 
The annual salary is £32,(Apply online only). 
 
This is a full-time role working fixed shifts, 6am to 4pm. 
 
Your Time at Work 
You will be responsible for leading a small team, coordinating logistics, and maintaining high standards of service, accuracy, and compliance. 
 
Key Responsibilities: 
- Supervise day-to-day warehouse operations, including goods in/out, picking, packing, and stock control 
- Coordinate vehicle scheduling, route planning, and driver allocation 
- Monitor transport performance, ensuring timely and cost-effective deliveries 
- Lead, motivate, and develop warehouse and driving teams 
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and company policies 
- Maintain accurate stock records and inventory systems 
- Liaise with internal departments, suppliers, and customers to resolve issues 
- Conduct regular audits and implement continuous improvement initiatives 
- Support with recruitment, training, and performance management 
 
Our Perfect Worker 
Our perfect worker must have: 
- Previous experience in a warehouse and/or transport supervisory role 
- Strong knowledge of UK logistics and distribution processes 
- Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements within warehousing 
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills 
- Strong leadership and team management ability 
- Confident using warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office 
- Excellent communication skills 
- Flexible and able to adapt in a fast-paced environment 
- FLT Experience
