Job Description
Our client, a successful and growing business, are looking for a Warehouse Yard Operative to join their time. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with solid experience in a fast-moving yard environment. The successful candidate will support the operational team by ensuring all yard-based activity runs smoothly, from equipment prep and cleaning to stock control and loading.

Key Responsibilities:
Move equipment around the yard and site areas
Get machines ready and clean them using the right tools
Pick stock and pack orders for delivery
Load and unload vehicles safely using a forklift
Keep the yard and warehouse clean and safe
Check stock regularly and ensure it is stored correctly
Enter basic info into the system to track tasks
Spot damaged or used items and report them for repair
Fill out forms to track equipment moved between sites
Skills, Experience, and Training Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role
A valid forklift licence would be beneficial, or at least some experience with forklifting
A full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle
A good level of physical fitness and stamina
Competence in using basic IT systems
A team-oriented mindset with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Strong understanding of health and safety protocols
