Connect Appointments are recruiting a Waste Operative/Labourer to join our client's team within the Macclesfield area.
What's on offer?
Monday to Thursday, 14:00 to 22:00 & Friday, 11:00 to 19:00
Paid weekly at £13.88 per hourWorking as a Waste Operative/Labourer, your role is to effectively collect, process, sort and generally manage the customer's waste. As such, your day-to-day duties will include:
Ensure routine collection and disposal of waste from around site
Safe use of forklift, pallet rider, van and other mobile plant
Maintain good housekeeping and safe storage of all wastes
Assist in the segregation, packaging and labelling of wastes
Assist in the removal from site of all waste materials thereby reducing stock build up
Complete daily vehicle and equipment check sheets as required
Routine liaison with manager or supervisor on operational and safety aspects of workWhat we're looking for?
A current and valid Forklift license
A current and valid drivers license
You're adaptable, with good common sense
You're keen and ambition to learn and progress
