Job Description
Waste Operative – Immediate Start (2-Month Contract)
We are currently recruiting for a Waste Operative on behalf of a third-party client for an immediate start. This is a temporary role for 2 months, with the potential for flexibility in working hours based on site requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Loading behind refuse/recycling lorries, collecting waste from households, and ensuring proper segregation of recyclable materials.
Contributing to the overall cleanliness and tidiness of the streets and public areas.
Working at these facilities to assist with the sorting, processing, and disposal of waste.
Collecting large items of household waste, such as furniture, that are not suitable for regular collection.
Removing illegally dumped waste from public areas.
Delivering new bins or collecting old ones from households.
Working Hours:
Total: 37 hours per week
Based: Wick or Thurso
Pay Rate:
£13.12 per hour (HC03 grade)
