About the Role:
We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking Waste Sorters to join our night shift team. This role plays a key part in helping us manage and process recyclable materials safely and efficiently.
As a Waste Sorter, you’ll be responsible for site-specific waste picking, sorting materials such as plastic, metal, paper, and general waste. Full training will be provided.
Shift Details:
* Nights: Monday to Thursday
* Hours: 6:50 PM – 6:50 AM
* Breaks: 3 paid breaks – 20 mins, 20 mins, 30 mins
* Pay: £14.04 per hour + potential overtime available paid at flat rate
Key Responsibilities:
* Sort waste at designated areas or conveyor belts
* Separate recyclable materials from general waste
* Follow all health and safety procedures
* Keep the work area clean and safe
* Report any hazardous materials to supervisors
* Work independently and as part of a team
Requirements:
* Able to work 12-hour night shifts
* Physically fit and comfortable with repetitive tasks
* Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
* Previous waste sorting experience is a bonus, but not required
* Comfortable working indoors and outdoors
