Job Description
Aqua-Tech Recruitment are delighted to be working with a trusted delivery partner for the water industry, who due to continued growth, are looking for skilled and experienced waste water supervisors to help shape the future of the Scottish water infrastructure.
These are roles please a key part in delivering essential wastewater repair and maintenance projects that impact thousands of lives every day.
Responsiblities include:
*
Leading and supervising field teams to prioritise safety and quality
*
Overseeing training to ensure teams are fully competent and compliant
*
Proactively managing works to reduce disruption and avoid errors
*
Reviewing method statements and risk assessments from contractors
*
Conducting safety audits and implementing hazard controls
*
Promoting a "right first time" approach to improve customer experience
Requirements:
*
Experience supervising multiple crews, ideally in wastewater or utilities
*
Strong people management and communication skills
*
A positive approach to change, performance improvement, and safety
*
Knowledge of relevant health and safety standards (IOSH preferred)
*
A full UK driving licence
Desirable:
*
NRSWA certification
*
SSSTS/SMSTS
*
CDM awareness/training
*
Experience in the armed forces, civil engineering graduates, or operational team leaders ready to take the next step
