Field Service Engineer – Water Treatment
Ideally based between Bristol and Birmingham (Gloucester/Cheltenham perfect)
Up to £35,000 + Company Van + Overtime + Call Out Pay

Are you a practical, hands-on engineer looking for a field-based role where every day is different?
We’re looking for a Field Service Engineer to join a growing technical team supporting sites between Bristol and Birmingham. If you’re based along the M5 corridor – Gloucester, Cheltenham, Worcester, or nearby – this could be your ideal next move.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a key member of the Field Service Team, you’ll:
Install, maintain, and repair water treatment systems at customer sites
Carry out scheduled and ad-hoc service visits
Respond to emergency call-outs (on a rota)
Diagnose faults and repair or replace equipment
Support with new system installations and commissioning
What you need for this role
Mechanical/Electrical Engineering background (Level 3+)
Previous experience with plant maintenance or fault finding
Self-motivated and able to work independently in the field
UK driving licence
Willingness to travel across the region and work occasional weekends/on-call
Even Better If You Have:
Electro-mechanical apprenticeship or ONC/HNC in Engineering
18th Edition qualified
Experience working with water purification equipment
What You’ll Get:
