Job Description
Our client is one of the largest facilities management and maintenance contractors in the UK, offering market leading opportunities for talented professionals looking for long term career progression.
We are looking for a Water Hygeine Assessor who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.
Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a Water Hygeine Assessor to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.
As the Water Hygeine Assessor, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.
The Water Hygeine Assessor, will be responsible for:
* Conduct Legionella risk assessments both manually and using electronic systems.
* Complete and return all risk assessment paperwork and reports accurately and on time.
* Carry out additional operational tasks as required to fulfill contractual obligations.
* Use IT systems and PDAs effectively for reporting and documentation.
* Draw schematic diagrams related to water systems for risk assessment purposes.
* Ensure compliance with regulations such as ACOP L8, HSG274, BS8580-1:2019, and HTM 04-01.
To be successful for this Water Hygeine Assessor role you must have:
* A City and Guilds Risk Assessing qualification (or equivalent).
* Proven experience in Legionella risk assessments and the water treatment industry.
* Strong knowledge of ACOP L8, HSG274, BS8580-1:2019, and HTM 04-01 guidelines.
* Proficiency with IT systems, including the ability to use a PDA and produce schematic diagrams.
* A full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
* The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
