Water Hygiene Engineer – Cheltenham
£30,000 – £33,000 + Excellent Benefits + Local Workload + Career Development
We’re recruiting on behalf of a respected and long-established compliance specialist known for delivering high-quality water hygiene and legionella control services across the South West. Due to continued growth, they’re now looking to bring a Water Hygiene Engineer into their Cheltenham-based team.

Role Overview:
As a Water Hygiene Engineer, you’ll carry out a variety of planned maintenance and remedial duties across commercial and public sector sites. You’ll be joining a friendly, supportive team with steady regional routes and a realistic workload – no nationwide travel or overnight stays.
Key Responsibilities:
*
Temperature monitoring and water sampling
*
Showerhead descales and TMV servicing
*
Tank cleans and disinfections
*
Minor plumbing / remedial work (if trained)
*
Accurate completion of logbooks and compliance records
*
Working in line with ACoP L8 and HSG274 guidance
What We’re Looking For:
*
Experience in a Water Hygiene or Legionella Control role
*
Full UK driving licence
*
Sound understanding of water safety compliance
*
Professional, reliable and team-oriented attitude
*
Bonus: any plumbing or risk assessment training
