Our client is one of the largest facilities management and maintenance contractors in the UK, offering market leading opportunities for talented professionals looking for long term career progression.
Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a Water Hygiene Engineer to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.
We are looking for a Water Hygiene Engineer who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.
The Water Hygiene Engineer, will be responsible for:
* Completion of routine monitoring tasks in line with the Approved Code of Practice L8
* Maintain our customer's water log books and complete the necessary documentation in accordance with current guidelines and company policy
* To take a variety of water samples from multiple sector properties and document these samples
* Carry out water system clean and disinfections in accordance with the Approved Code of Practice L8
* Testing, servicing and maintaining of thermostatic mixing valves
To be successful for this Water Hygiene Engineer role you must have:
* Previous experience within Compliance Servicing, Legionella Monitoring or Water Treatment
* Advanced knowledge and experience of maintaining water systems is desirable
* Basic IT skills
