Water Hygiene Engineer
Oxfordshire/Berkshire (Field-based, UK travel required)
* Full time, permanent (Monday – Friday)
* £30,000 per annum, depending on experience

The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer to join our skilled and supportive hygiene team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out temperature monitoring, routine sampling, and system checks
* Inspect and clean Cold Water Storage Tanks (CWSTs) and hot water storage vessels
* Perform cleaning and disinfection of water systems, showerheads, and outlets
* Collect and record accurate site data and service reports
* Ensure full compliance with ACoP L8 and HSG274 Part 2
* Build positive client relationships and represent H2O Environmental professionally
* Travel nationwide as required to support contracts

The Ideal Candidate:
You’ll be a proactive and professional engineer with a strong understanding of water hygiene practices and Legionella control standards. You’ll take pride in your work, have a keen eye for detail, and be comfortable working independently on client sites. About you:
* Previous experience in a Water Hygiene or Water Treatment Technician role
* Solid knowledge of ACoP L8, HSG274, and Water Regulations
* A full UK driving licence (essential)
* Excellent communication and record-keeping skills
* Flexibility to travel throughout the UK
* A professional, customer-focused attitude
