Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer

Location: Eastbourne, East Sussex

Salary/Benefits: £26k - £36k + Training & Benefits

We are recruiting on behalf of an industry-leader within the Water Hygiene and Compliance industry. They are seeking an experienced and hardworking Water Hygiene Engineer to cover new commercial and local authority client sites in the South East and South Coast region. Candidates must have existing experience of undertaking PPM water hygiene tasks, including: TMV servicing, water sampling, temperature monitoring and showerhead descales. Our client is able to offer excellent further training within the industry, in addition to competitive salaries and benefits packages.

You will be travelling across: Eastbourne, Seaford, Burgess Hill, Haywards Heath, Crawley, Horsham, Brighton, Worthing, Littlehampton, Bognor Regis, Chichester, East Grinstead, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Bexhill, Hastings, Winchester, Maidstone, Redhill, Crowborough, Billingshurst, Caterham, Oxted, Sevenoaks, Guildford, Godlaming, Haslemere, Havant, Waterlooville.

Experience / Qualifications:

  * Good hands-on experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer

  * Working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines

  * Ideally will have experience working across a range of client sites

  * Able to work independently on site

  * Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills

  * Hardworking attitude

The Role:

  * Showerhead descales

  * TMV servicing and failsafe checks

  * Water sampling

  * Temperature monitoring

  * Tank inspections, cleans and disinfections

  * Updating site logbooks

  * Working to agreed deadlines

  * Adhering to safety guidelines
