Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer
Location: South West London
Paying: £30,000 - £35,000 w/ Van and Fuel Card + Overtime/Call Out
Job Type: Permanent
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Water Hygiene Engineer to join a reputable contractor. You will carry out water hygiene and Legionella control works in line with ACOP L8, HSG 274 and relevant regulations, helping the client maintain safe and compliant water systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Water temperature monitoring, sampling and system inspections.
* Tank and calorifier inspections.
* TMV servicing and failsafe checks.
* Cleaning and disinfection of water systems.
* Minor remedial plumbing works, including pipework modifications and dead-leg removal.
* Accurate completion of service reports and records.
* Maintain high standards of health & safety and customer service.
Requirements
Essential:
* Previous water hygiene/Legionella experience.
* Knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Good communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable:
* Plumbing qualification (NVQ/City & Guilds).
* Legionella/Water Hygiene training.
