Job Title: Static Water Hygiene Engineer
Location: Glasgow
Salary: £27,000 - £35,000 + Benefits

Are you an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer looking to step away from constant travel? This is your chance to secure a permanent, static position based at a single site in Glasgow with one of the UK's most established environmental service providers.
With close to 50 years of industry-leading experience, this company is known for its high standards, innovative solutions, and unwavering commitment to health, safety, and compliance in water hygiene, fire safety, and environmental services.
As a Static Water Hygiene Engineer, you'll be responsible for a wide range of duties to maintain water hygiene compliance across the site, including:
Temperature monitoring and water sampling
Servicing of Thermostatic Mixing Valves (TMVs)
Cleaning and disinfection of water storage tanks
Chlorination and system disinfections
Ensuring all work complies with ACOP L8 and internal safety protocols
What We're Looking For
We're seeking a proactive engineer with:
A minimum of 2 years' hands-on experience in water hygiene
Solid understanding of L8 compliance standards
An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
Experience in healthcare environments is beneficial but not essential
