Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer
Location: Derby, East Midlands
Salary/Benefits: £25k - £34k + Training & Benefits
Due to recent company growth, our client is seeking a reliable Water Hygiene Engineer, who is able to undertake a variety of ACOP L8 compliance duties. The company is a busy Water Hygiene / Legionella outfit who can offer excellent opportunities for further training and development. Duties will vary from routine sampling and monitoring to cleans and disinfections, so existing experience is required. The successful candidate can expect competitive basic salaries in addition to usual company benefits, such as: overtime opportunities, company pension scheme and fleet vehicle.
You will be travelling across: Derby, Nottingham, Long Eaton, Beeston, Castle Donington, Burton upon Trent, Swadlincote, Coalville, Leicester, Loughborough, Hinckley, Nuneaton, Polesworth, Coventry, Lutterworth, Rugby, Daventry, Royal Leamington Spa, Redditch, Bromsgrove, Dudley, Wolverhampton, Walsall, Dudley, West Bromwich, Stourbridge, Kidderminster, Penkridge, Stafford, Burntwood, Lichfield.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Will have experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer within a well-established outfit
- Working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
- Experience servicing a range of commercial and public sector client sites
- Good literacy and IT skills
- Hardworking attitude
- Able to travel in line with company requirements
The Role:
- Undertaking a wide range of PPM ACOP L8 compliance duties
- Showerhead descales
- Flushing of little used outlets
- Cleans and disinfections on cold water storage tanks
- Water sampling
- Temperature monitoring
- Calorifier blowdowns
- Closed system sampling
- Completing regular service reports
